(2/3 of the 54 non-energy benefits that make up our checklist are quantifiable and monetizable and are therefore included in the financial assessments).

The methodology is embedded in the MBENEFITS software.

The software’s checklist helps you identify and assess the non-energy benefits of your energy efficiency, renewable energy, or decarbonization measures. Each analysis case can include up to 10 energy performance measures or packages of measures.

The software provides examples of case studies in industry and services. For user convenience, relevant results are automatically copied from one stage of analysis to the next. Navigating between stages is simple and intuitive. The Software is available in 7 languages and 7 currencies.

The MBENEFITS methodology and Software have been tested in 23 pilot case studies carried out in the EU, Switzerland and the US in 2019-2021. This knowledge baseis a useful source of inspiration and data for future investment project assessments.
